The criteria are: We only accept jobs that will be of interest to our members. We suggest that you only post a job opportunity if the role contains some creative input, or is in an exciting or otherwise desirable industry (Media, Charities, Arts, Start-ups) We accept job posts by recruitment agencies, but will check with our members about their practices to ensure that they are offering a good service, and are honest about their activities We also accept posts for vacancies on graduate schemes We only accept internships that will be of interest to our members All internships must be paid a minimum of £50 per day Work Experience Days are our solution for companies who are looking to engage young people but do not currently have a system in place to do this. Ranging from a single presentation given in the company’s office, to a full day of workshops and pitches, work experience days can give young people a chance to experience a company from the inside out, and companies the chance to meet some brilliant young OS members, and hire them if the opportunity arises. Open Society Jobs offers recruitment services especially designed for SME’s and start-ups. We make hiring for entry to mid-level positions low-risk and time-efficient. Knowing our members personally from their project work and workshops, we can identify the very best candidates in no time, interview them and send them over to you. Speaking to them daily and knowing their skills, interests and availability means that we can usually find the perfect candidate within 3 weeks. After 3 months, if you like the candidate, you can hire them at a simple fee of 10% of their first year’s salary.
